Jamie Travis

Jamie Travis has earned a reputation as “one of the most original voices in Canadian cinema” (The Toronto Sun). His six highly stylized films, Why the Anderson Children Didn’t Come to Dinner, The Saddest Boy in the World, The Patterns Trilogy and The Armoire have all premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and gone on to great international success, including a career retrospective at London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts in 2009. In the commercial world, Jamie’s knack for crisp, colourful visuals and deadpan comedy have garnered his spots many awards, including a Silver Cannes Lion, a Gold Bessie and a One Show Silver Pencil.
